Meet Mark Miles, Contracts Manager
Mark attended Oxford Brookes University where he graduated with an BEng (Hons) in Engineering in 1987.
In 1988 Mark joined Colt International and over the next three decades worked in a number of roles, which included Controls Design and Manufacturing, Overseas placements, and Project Manager working on notable sites such as Tate Britain, The Natural History Museum and Heathrow Terminal 5. Subsequent roles included a period in Sales Consultancy and as Service Technical Manager leading a team of over fifty field-based engineers.
In 2018, Mark moved to Delta Ventilation as its Operations Director. There, he took overall responsibility for the Design, Project Management, Installation activities and the successful launch of a new UK-wide Service and Maintenance division. Mark’s duties saw him oversee the company’s design, installation and maintenance of its smoke ventilation and climate control systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings across the UK.
Mark’s new role as Contracts Manager at Group SCS sees him ensuring projects are successfully delivered, whilst offering technical expertise and using his multi-skilled experience from across several engineering disciplines.
In his job role, Mark particularly enjoys using his experience and knowledge to problem solve and help the team deliver on a consistent basis.
Outside of work, Mark is a keen golfer and also likes the challenge of home improvement projects.
