What is the Group SCS Pledge?

Sharing Continuous Safety is a pledge created by Group SCS with the purpose of promoting safety in the workplace. Working in the construction industry comes with many risks to the safety of those on-site. Many of them can be prevented and managed with proper preparation, education, and training. We created the Pledge as a way to promote safety practices and ensure the well being of both those who work in construction and those who use the spaces our work and products create.

We believe that safety begins with all of us and pledge to take action in order to ensure it.

We pledge to:

Put safety above all else

Do everything in our power to keep workers safe and never compromise on safety.

Provide training opportunities

Train and encourage our workers to record and report incidents, hazards and near-misses.

Implement reporting processes

Provide workers with the necessary tools to record and report incidents, hazards and near-misses easily.

Learn from the past

Use the data at our disposal to help mitigate risks.

Create a safety culture

Remind our workers that there is always time to do it right. When in doubt, stop and ask someone with the right knowledge and expertise before proceeding.
