What is the Group SCS smoke control installation training course?
We run a smoke control installation training course for the members of our Approved Contractor Network. The course teaches contractors about our systems in detail and helps them feel confident when taking smoke control in-house. We have been running our Approved Installer Training for several years with many companies becoming Group SCS Approved Installers. The training to become Approved Installers includes three modules:
- Design
- Installation
- Commissioning of smoke control systems for residential buildings to ADB
All modules include a mix of theoretical and practical learning, with the use of our purpose-built training suite in our Cardiff office. Prior to attending, trainees also complete our online ‘Fundamentals of Residential Fire Engineering’ Module.
