Our EV-AOV-LW louvred window with glass blades allows light and fresh air to enter the building. With the respective control unit, they may also serve as natural smoke and heat extractors or as supply air units in case of fire.
Its seamless design means this louvre window blends into the façade in such a way that they don’t interfere with the building as a whole but enhance it visually. With high importance given to energy efficiency, the use of this system means the requirements of the current EnEV can be significantly undercut. Low joint pass-through coefficients and U-values up to 0.5 W/m²K help saving energy.
The frame is available in a standard mill finish, or polyester powder coated in a standard RAL gloss ± 65%. Optional matt or metallic finish. The frame is provided with pre-drilled holes (top and both sides) for direct fixing into building structure or with optional glazing adaptor for curtain walling applications.
Bespoke sizes are available on request.
As per our terms of sale, the Louvred Window with Glass Blades is non-refundable.
Under the Construction Products Regulations (CPR) it is a legal requirement to use only certified products for smoke ventilation. For more information see Group SCS’ Technical Bulletin. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure installations meet the relevant standards and that the installer has the appropriate competence to install or replace smoke ventilation products. We recommend installers hold an up-to-date IFC SDI 19 Smoke Control Systems certification to demonstrate compliance.
