Gold accreditation against the Investors in People (IIP) Standard
We’re thrilled to announce that Group SCS, the smoke control, Building Energy Management Systems and natural ventilation company, has been awarded the accreditation, following an IIP assessment in July. Group SCS has been awarded Gold accreditation against the Investors in People (IIP) Standard, joining the top seven per cent of accredited organisations across the UK, demonstrating its commitment to high performance through good people management.
Group SCS is proud to employ happy and motivated staff, attaining a high standard of industry-leading customer service. All employees are shareholders so they really care about the service they deliver. The IIP Assessor said:
“Values are at the heart of how Group SCS operates with its clients, partners, employees, suppliers and external subcontractors. It is embedded in ‘how we do things around here’ to day to day approach to working with each other and with clients and supplier partners.”
She added: “A lot of work has been done on the recognition and reward strategy to ensure that those who do perform very well are rewarded appropriately…

International standard

The IIP Assessor added: “There was evidence that employees would pull out all the stops to assist a customer to achieve their work deadlines, even if it means considerable additional effort. This does show that the values are very well embedded within the company.”
