STAFF from SCS Group headed to Germany to attend a Sales Partner Meeting at Simon RWA’s offices in Passau.
SCS Group is a certified partner of Simon RWA and regularly uses its products on various sites across the UK; Easivent, the supply-only sales arm of the SCS Group, is the sole UK supplier of the unique Simon RWA product range.
Easivent Product Manager Michael Washbourne attended the meeting with Richard Harris, Product Engineer, and Christopher Jones, SCS Group Projects Director. Also attending were Simon Inwood, Director, and Mike Parkhurst, Engineering Manager, who both work at SCS Group’s manufacturing department in Bournemouth.
Suppliers from other countries also attended the event which took place May 2-4, 2017. Representatives travelled from Denmark, Finland, Spain, Portugal and Hong Kong to network and learn about new and existing product advancements.
Upon arrival, all attendees were invited to a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. As well as sampling some local beer, everyone got to know each other.
An early start on Wednesday morning saw the team arrive at Simon RWA’s office for the sales meeting which was led by Christian Schneider, Head of Sales, with assistance from Sebastian Grillhoesl, Technical Sales.
Christian introduced new products including the unique M-VENT single panel, specifically designed for daily ventilation. This panel can control both 24V and 230V actuators and has multiple input capabilities. This panel will soon be available through the Easivent webstore.
Additional features of existing products were also discussed including upgrades to the popular M-SHEV panel, which now has BEMS inputs to control daily ventilation functions. It also incorporates a new switch feature which gives users the choice of opening and closing the vents with one tap, or using the operator presence control to open the vent to a desired stroke length without the need for programming. These new features are available now on all M-SHEV panels purchased through Easivent.
Simon RWA develops unique brackets
Due to popular demand, Simon RWA has also developed a 1,500mm EAK-30 and EAK-50 chain drive with unique flex brackets which stop chains catching on the inside of doors when fully open.
After the product update, attendees were invited to see and operate the full product range in a specially designed demonstration area.
