OUR dedicated team of engineers are a crucial element of SCS Group, carrying out important work at sites across the UK.
We are pleased to introduce the latest member of our team of engineers – Luke Tisser, who is a Service and Commissioning Engineer.
Becoming an engineer
So how did Luke arrive at his current role at SCS Group? Read on to find out more!
After leaving high school, Luke undertook A-levels in PE, Forensics and Law at Havering Sixth Form in East London. After college he completed a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment and his 17th edition.
Luke said: “I did my apprenticeship with a BMS (Building Management System) install company and after my apprenticeship I did install for six years.
“I liked the look of the commissioning side of things and wanted to get into that as it seemed interesting how everything works through software.”
‘I’m really enjoying my new role’
Luke’s next move was to SCS Group. He said: “At SCS I have taken on the role of a Commissioning and Service Engineer which I’m really enjoying at the moment as it is a different challenge for me every day.”
Outside work, Luke enjoys socialising with his friends and spending time with his partner. He enjoys watching a variety of sports – in particular football – and says he’s a big supporter of Arsenal.
