SCS Group is celebrating success after scooping an impressive award at the inaugural Construction Investing in Talent Awards held last night (December 8, 2016) at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The company, which has offices in Cardiff, London and Dorset, was thrilled to win the Best Reward and Recognition Scheme category.
The category recognises how a good reward and recognition scheme can play a central role in ensuring both staff morale and retention rates are high.
The award was presented by Peter Hall, Member Engagement Manager, Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion, who was one of the judges for the awards.
SCS Group’s Operations Manager Macarena Machado, who attended the glittering awards ceremony, said: “We are so pleased to have won this fantastic award. It is always our aim to make sure we engage our employees and encourage them to be a part of the growth of the company. Winning this award is confirmation that we are recognising and rewarding our employees and allowing them to benefit from our continued success.”
SCS Group employs just under 50 staff across its three offices and they enjoy an array of fantastic benefits, as well as being able to work in a friendly and supportive environment.
The awards, organised by Construction News and New Civil Engineer, are about rewarding individuals and teams who work so hard to attract and retain the best talent.
Nearly 400 people attended the black tie event, with the winning firms being chosen by a panel of 12 judges.
The categories were: Best Apprenticeship Scheme; Best Corporate Responsibility Initiative; Best Diversity and Inclusion Initiative; Best Graduate Recruitment Strategy; Best In-House Recruitment Team; Best Learning and Development Initiative; Best Place to Work (which SCS Group was shortlisted for); Best Recruitment Consultancy; Best Retention Strategy; Best Reward and Recognition Scheme; Best Use of Technology; Best Wellbeing Initiative; HR Star of the Year; and Innovation in Recruitment.
