The rain detector WS-890 is designed for connection to SHE and ventilation control panels of SIMON PROtec Systems GmbH. The detector prevents excessive rain, leaving the windows controlled by the control panel open. A heated sensor surface avoids false triggering by snow, ice or dew. The period of time to respond to the rain can be adjusted thanks to the built-in time delay.
Functional testing by integrated evaluation electronics
Thanks to an integrated evaluation electronics, the functionality of the rain detector can be easily understood. Any defects or malfunctions of the rain detector can be detected and eliminated more quickly.
