The fire curtain system Fire PROtec² will start a new generation of textile smoke and fire protection. It is just as flexible as the certified smoke and fire protection qualities of the harmonised standard EN 16034.
We incorporated the expertise of our product development as well as the production with regard to smoke ventilation actuators into the new FSV2 (project name). Thus, the production of serial and project parts could be significantly enhanced. Compared to its precursor, the new system complies with the requirements of EN 16034 from the very beginning. As of now, it can be labelled with a declaration of performance CE in the direct and extended area of application. At the same time, this is your proof of usability for integrating the system in your building project.
With the FSV2-182-SFS-E120 you´ll get following version:
- Fire PROtec² E120-C2 for preventing flash overs for more than 120 Minuten. (Wall and Reveal mounting)
Developing the Fire PROtec², the main focus was to keep the headboxes small (150x182 mm with a curtain size of 2.80 x 3 m) and the visual quality high. The curtain will be delivered as a construction kit and can be mounted and installed easily which saves both time and money. Especially the "snap-in" mechanism considerably facilitates the installation of the pre-fabricated roller unit. As for the control units, SIMON PROtec offers two possibilities (with and without emergency power, + emergency open) with an approved locking panel RZ-24.
The whole system can be used for outside application if equipped with a heating system and a weather protection shield.
