The EV-101AC Damper Control Panel is a robust solution for powering, monitoring, and controlling fail-safe damper actuators in smoke and fire ventilation systems. Designed for reliability and compliance, it integrates seamlessly into both standalone and addressable systems, ensuring flexibility across a wide range of applications.
Equipped with continuous monitoring, the panel provides real-time feedback on damper position and operational status via intuitive LED indicators. A built-in self-test sequence automatically exercises the damper to verify correct operation and detect faults early, supporting simplified maintenance and long-term system integrity.
The EV-101AC supports dual operation modes:
- Standalone Mode – activated directly by a connected smoke detector or fire alarm interface.
- Network Mode – addressable operation with the EV-DCP master damper control panel, responding to programmed cause-and-effect logic.
For resilience, the panel operates on 230 V AC with an optional 24 V DC backup to maintain monitoring and communication during power loss. It features a compact IP66-rated housing (0.9 kg) or an optional IP55-rated Hotbox enclosure (5.6 kg) with FabBloc insulation, independently certified by Lloyd’s Register for 300°C survival over 90 minutes.
Additional highlights include:
- Modulating actuator support (0–10 V input/output).
- Clear fault indication via LED Morse code diagnostics.
- Reset/test functionality via onboard button or network command.
- Certified to EN 12101-9 and EN 12101-10 standards (Class D and Class A, respectively).
With its blend of intelligent monitoring, flexible deployment, and proven fire resilience, the EV-101AC is a dependable interface panel for ensuring smoke control dampers perform effectively in critical safety scenarios.
Under the Construction Products Regulations (CPR) it is a legal requirement to use only certified products for smoke ventilation. For more information see Group SCS’ Technical Bulletin. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure installations meet the relevant standards and that the installer has the appropriate competence to install or replace smoke ventilation products. We recommend installers hold an up-to-date IFC SDI 19 Smoke Control Systems certification to demonstrate compliance.
