Chain actuators - powerful automatic window openers
The EA-K-50/750 chain actuator is an electromechanical actuator for opening and closing windows and flaps. It is used for smoke and heat ventilation and natural ventilation. The actuator can be mounted on any window profile or frame by using different mounting brackets. All EA-K-50 chain actuators are equipped with a back-rigid chain.
Parameterization with software interface SIMON LINK
The chain actuator is controlled by means of a microcontroller, which can be parameterized by SIMON PROtec own software. Parameters such as opening stroke, maximum current and force can be conveniently changed via the SIMON LINK software interface.
EA-K-50 chain actuators certified as NSHEV
As part of SIMON SHEV, the EA-K-50 chain actuator with various profile systems has been tested and certified as a NSHEV according to EN 12101-2. The actuator is equipped with a soft start and a soft close as standard. The soft close ensures reduced speed in CLOSE direction, 75 mm before the end position, as well as reduced force for seal relief. Thanks to the extremely quiet running and the integrated soft close range, flaps and windows can be opened and closed almost silently.
EA-K-50 chain actuators can be used with additional locking systems
The actuator signals an F(eedback) contact for additional locking in the end positions and can therefore be used with interlocking actuators in sequence controls. Due to the modern, EV1 anodized aluminium profile housing and the compact design, chain actuators are very well suited for use in demanding residential and commercial properties. Chain actuators are available as single operation as well as tandem actuators.
Power package with 500 N - Performance features chain actuator EA-K-50/750
The chain actuator EA-K-50/750 is a single operation actuator with integrated load cut-off. The chain actuator can be used to automate inward and outward opening windows and flaps on the facade. The installation is possible at main closing edges. With a push and pulling force of 500 N the chain actuator EA-K-50/750 precisely opens and closes windows, doors and flaps for smoke extraction and ventilation. The opening stroke is 750 mm. When needed, the stroke can be easily reduced via the SIMON LINK software interface.
Scope of delivery: including 1x bracket
