Group SCS is thrilled to have been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) We invest in people Gold accreditation for the second time.
Achieving a Gold accreditation – which only 17% of organisations achieve – means as a company we’ve got the policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from Managing Director to apprentice – takes ownership for making them come to life.
We first achieved the Investors in People standard in 1999 and have now held our IIP accreditation for over 20 years with our first three-year Gold accreditation being awarded in 2017.
Following IIP’s assessment carried out in the summer of 2020, the IIP assessor said: “You had high scores as being a great place to work and your people confirmed this during the interviews. People are optimistic for the future of the business and for its success.”
The assessment found that 94% of Group SCS staff agree that they share the company’s values and 95% believe they behave in line with the company’s values. People also explained how they would deal with their work and clients the “right way” not just the easiest way because “this is how we do things at SCS”.
