The Project
Our Involvement
Group SCS project managed the installation of the integrated solution, offering a bespoke system capable of meeting the client’s needs whilst integrating the passive/smoke/BMS elements and saving on installation time and costs. The system designed, supplied and commissioned includes a 16 zone day to day ventilation system cooling the circulation corridors and the village area using a combination of temperature sensors, automatic opening windows and atrium ventilators along with BMS signalling and a fully addressable control system. As a value added inclusion the smoke ventilation requirements were added to the scope of works, incorporating further smoke shafts, head of stairwell ventilators and cross control of the automatic windows. The control system was manufactured at the Group SCS production facility in Bournemouth, whilst the project was designed, installed and project managed from the Group SCS Birmingham office.
