Project Background
Cheema Civil Engineering provided a turnkey solution for the collection, storage, and treatment of leachate from the landfill site at Gayton in Northamptonshire. The site is completely unmanned and automatic in operation, with vital monitoring of water quality being carried out remotely.

We were employed to design, manufacture and commission a control panel for the treatment plant.

Our engineers designed a control system to automate all processes with the ability for remote monitoring and testing. Data logging and reporting on water quality is an important part of the system, which is also programmed to send reports and low quality alerts by text message.
