Meet Allan Meek, Director

Allan Meek is a Director and founder of the market leading smoke control specialist Group SCS.

Allan began his career as an apprentice building services engineer and began in the smoke control industry as a project manager in 1984. He has an active role within the Smoke Control Association and led the committee that revised the widely referenced Guidance on Smoke Control to Common Escape Routes in Apartment Buildings (Flats and Maisonettes).

He holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University and is an Entrepreneur in residence at Cardiff University.

Allan is also an avid traveller and likes to get out in the fresh air, regularly taking part in triathlons, climbing mountains, and trekking. Ever the adventurer, Allan climbed Mount Everest in May 2017. Find out more about his adventure here.
