SCS Group employees raised an amazing £124.82 for charity by taking part in Christmas jumper day last month.
The impressive amount was announced this week following the event on Friday, December 16, 2016 and will be donated to CRASH, the construction industry’s charity, of which SCS Group is a patron.
Jenny Vaidya, Fundraising and Events Manager at CRASH, said: “Thank you so much for raising such a brilliant amount for CRASH, this is wonderful and I hope you all enjoyed taking part in the day.”
CRASH is a unique, practical charity that assists homeless and hospice charities with construction-related projects. It offers pro bono professional expertise, sourcing building materials and the technical knowledge to use them and awarding cash grants sourced from its patron companies.
‘Important to support charity’
Macarena Machado, Operations Manager based in Cardiff, said: “It’s so important for us as a company to support CRASH, particularly at Christmas. Our team are always keen to get involved in fundraising and I’m sure that will continue into 2017.”
SCS Group also took part in CRASH’s no Christmas card appeal, by donating its Christmas card budget to CRASH in return for an animated e-card.
