SCS Group has had its Investors in People accrediation since 1999

SCS Group was first accredited with the Investors in People (IIP) standard in 1999 and has now held IIP accreditation for more than 17 years.

The company was recently (summer 2017) awarded Gold accreditation against the Investors in People (IIP) Standard, joining the top seven per cent of accredited organisations across the UK, demonstrating its commitment to high performance through good people management.

Launched in 1991, Investors in People is the UK’s leading people management standard. Companies are assessed against areas such as business strategy, learning and development, and involvement and empowerment.

Maintaining the Investors in People standard represents a true commitment to employees and demonstrates a solid foundation of good practice.

In the report written following our most recent IIP assessment (July 2017), the Assessor noted: “Values are at the heart of how SCS Group operates with its clients, partners, employees, suppliers and external subcontractors. It is embedded in ‘how we do things around here’ to day to day approach to working with each other and with clients and supplier partners.”

She added: “A lot of work has been done on the recognition and reward strategy to ensure that those who do perform very well are rewarded appropriately…

“The low staff turnover and high retention rates support the appreciation of SCS Group as a good employer.”
