The SCS Group team, some of whom started as apprentices at the company

SCS Group is a great believer in apprenticeships and has helped several people get into the construction industry via apprenticeship schemes. We know that apprenticeships really can have a positive effect on individuals, businesses and the economy.

What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a scheme that lets you combine both experience and qualifications, helping you to get your career started. Most apprentices study for one day a week and work at a company, such as SCS, for the rest of the week; it means you can earn money while also learning and getting qualified.

We have worked with a number of fantastic education providers including South Thames College and Coleg Morgannwg to provide apprenticeships. Depending on the level of your own personal apprenticeship, it usually takes one to four years to complete the scheme.

Could I be an apprentice at SCS Group?

We offer a number of apprenticeships and current positions can be found on our vacancies page. However, if you don’t see anything suitable at the moment, it really is worth getting in touch anyway and telling us about yourself – we will get back in touch if and when a suitable position comes up – email
