A NEW video showcasing one of the industry’s newest awards ceremonies has been published – and it features SCS Group.

SCS Group scooped the award for Best Reward and Recognition Scheme at the inaugural Construction Investing in Talent Awards held in December 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Now a video has been released highlighting the event, which was organised by Construction News and New Civil Engineer and rewarded individuals and teams who work hard to attract and retain the best talent (watch the video below).

SCS Group staff are shown receiving the award and celebrating on stage, followed by four of the staff having an in-depth interview behind the scenes.

Interview behind the scenes

Operations Manager Macarena Machado, Easivent Product Manager Michael Washbourne, Director Simon Inwood and Jackie Lewis, who deals with SCS Group’s HR policies, were all interviewed after the award was presented.

The category that SCS Group won its award in recognises how good reward and recognition schemes can play a central role in ensuring both staff morale and retention rates are high.

The award was presented by Peter Hall, Member Engagement Manager, Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion, who was one of the judges for the awards.

‘Multi-faceted package of rewards and recognition’

The judges said of SCS Group: “A smaller company, the winner’s scheme recognised the diversity of its workforce and the different motivations within its team in designing a multi-faceted package of rewards and recognition.”

SCS Group employs just under 50 staff across its three offices and they enjoy an array of fantastic benefits, as well as being able to work in a friendly and supportive environment.
